This week we continue our summer series, After God's Own Heart, as Evan Robinson explores one of the most beautiful and unexpected stories in David's life.

When King David asks if there is anyone left from Saul's family, everyone expects justice—or even revenge. Instead, David extends extraordinary kindness to Mephibosheth, the grandson of Saul, welcoming him to eat at the king's table for the rest of his life.

This remarkable act points us to something far greater. David's kindness foreshadows the heart of Jesus—a King who seeks us out, restores our identity, and invites us into His family not because we've earned it, but because of His grace.

Whether you've followed Jesus for years or you're still exploring who He is, this message is a powerful reminder that God's heart is full of mercy, kindness, and invitation.

📖 Scripture:
2 Samuel 9:1–13

💬 Key Thought:
God's kindness doesn't just change our circumstances—it changes our identity.
