It’s easy to get ahead of Jesus—to make plans, take control, and then ask Him to bless what we’ve already decided.
But following Jesus means something different. It means surrendering control and trusting Him to lead.
In Mark 8:27–38, Jesus rebukes Peter for trying to lead the way and reminds us that true discipleship is about following from behind.
This week, Pastor Reid Robinette challenges us to ask:
